The festivities begin with a free pizza buffet, and the first 100 guests will receive exclusive drink glasses commemorating this special anniversary. Known for its lively ambiance and sleek, modern feel, Butterflies has established itself as one of Nana Plaza’s most sought-after nightlife spots, drawing a mix of regulars and newcomers for memorable nights out.
Butterflies Babe of the Year Pageant: Audience-Driven Thrills
The centerpiece of the evening is the Butterflies Babe of the Year pageant, where over 70 contestants will take the stage in groups of ten. The audience will vote for their top three on paper ballots, narrowing down the competition to ten semifinalists who return for a second round.
Audience cheers, measured by a decibel meter, will determine the final top three, with a grand prize and two runners-up sharing 50,000 baht. Costumes vary, and sometimes less is more, with last year’s winner, Emma (#18), taking the top spot without a costume, while Kae (#407) impressed with an elaborate outfit to win first runner-up. Minnie (#5) earned third place with her unique foam-and-light wings.
At the Butterflies 7th Anniversary, the Babe of the Year title went to Emma, #18, who surprised the crowd by winning without a costume. Known for her charisma and natural appeal, Emma’s victory was a testament to the club’s spirit of unpredictability and fun.
For the 6th Anniversary, Beer (#233) won the Babe of the Year title with a standout look—a light-up cape that transformed into butterfly wings, paired with white knee-high boots, creating an unforgettable impression.
Butterflies Bangkok: A Venue Revamped
Since its transformation from Jail Birdz and Lone Star, Butterflies has come a long way. Relaunched in late 2016, the club evolved into a vibrant, modern destination that Nana Plaza visitors can’t resist. Now featuring over 300 LED lights, a powerful sound system, and cozy sofa seating, Butterflies boasts a unique character and a dedicated following.
